It is widely recognized that societies around the world are experiencing pivotal societal shifts as a result of 4ir. What has not been as apparent, is that we are also experiencing a massive disruption and shock to the societal and industrial systems on which we built our civilizations. Seeing how deeply entrenched systems struggled to adapt to global disruption because they lacked the knowledge and tools to respond nimbly to changing environments, Radia developed the “Theory and Practice of Disruptive Organizational Strategy” in 2011 to address the ensuing gap in strategy, systems design and process. Soon after, in 2012, she founded Build n Blaze to serve as a systems/process designer, toolmaker, platform provider and ecosystem for this practice.
In 2017, Radia developed the "Theory of the Exponential Human" or "xHuman" to explore the coevolution of humans and machines.
She is passionate about breakthrough innovation to promote equity in work, life and play, particularly for our youth; and founded Build n Blaze’s impact program in 2012, which to date has sponsored organizations including The New York Public Library and the Soledad O’Brien and Brad Raymond Starfish Foundation (now the PowHERful Foundation).
In recent years, Radia has served on World Economic Forum’s Responsible Capitalism Project Steering Board to help drive global discussions including the responsibility of professional services organizations to create opportunities that stimulate global economies by fostering talent mobility and identifying global talent risks.
She advises, trains and regularly speaks on topics including cultural transformation through systems design and process agility, the future of work, education and gender parity.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English & Pre-Law at The Catholic University of America.
