Build n Blaze research found that regulatory uncertainty around immersive technology definitions has contributed to a 40% slowdown in cross-border digital infrastructure investments — disproportionately affecting Global South nations seeking to build immersive technologies into their national futures. Industry's retreat did not solve this problem. It deepened it. The confusion gap is wider today than it was when the hype was loudest.

Every September, the global governance conversation converges on one city. Heads of state, agencies, and standards bodies arrive with one shared question: What frameworks will define the next decade?
UN Week 2025 was Build n Blaze's answer. The Collaborative launched at United Nations Digital Cooperation Day during UNGA 80 — the same week the Global Digital Compact moved from vision to implementation. As a GDC signatory, Build n Blaze did not just witness that moment. We arrived with commitments on the table.
The work has deepened. The urgency has grown. UN Week 2026 is next.
